On the 1st November 2009, the 9th annual Pink Ribbon Ride will be held with all funds raised going to the Cancer Council of New South Wales. The pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness.

The risk of being diagnosed before 85 is 1 in 9 for women and 1 in 747 for men. Each year, 2707 women and 19 men die of breast cancer." (Cancer Council Australia)
