  2003

October is National Breast Cancer month.
The pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness.
Every year the motorcyclists of Australia turn out in their thousands to help in the fight against breast cancer.

The NSW Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride was held on 26 October 2003 along with similar events in other capital cities around Australia from Brisbane to Perth.

A huge group of riders set out from The Mean Fiddler Hotel in Rouse Hill enjoying a scenic ride through the Hawkesbury district. They visited check points at The Galston Club and Scheyville National Park to complete the trivia quest before finishing at the Vineyard Hotel. A big vote of thanks is due to all venues for their help and hospitality.

After lunch the prizes generously donated by supporting businesses were awarded. A raffle raised over $2000 with prizes donated by Qantaslink, TJ Auto of Minchinbury, Inshape Health Clubs, Honda Australia Roadcraft Training (HART), Sydney City Motorcycles, Swimways Swimschools and Western Motorcycles.

This ride is for EVERYONE!
The Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride is for all motorcycle and scooter riders, young and old, male and female. Everyone has a great day out and the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting a great cause.
